A RESOLUT ION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH,
CALI FORNIA, GRANT IN G A CONDIT IO NAL USE PERMIT UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED ON PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH,
CALI FORN 1 A.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DOES RESOLVE as follows:
WHER EAS, there was f i led with t his Comm ission, under the prov isions of Ordina nce
N.S. 154, applicati o n for conditional use pe rmi t by Ricardo and Betty Real,
up on property leased by t he applican t s and loca t ed at 2851 Pacifi c Coas t
Highway; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Comm ission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on Oc tober
9, 1967, conduc t a duly advertised p ublic hea r in g to consider this app li cation
to ser ve beer and wine in conjunction with a bona fide rest a urant, on tha t
property des c r i bed as:
sou th 100 f eet of north 35 0 ft. of e 160 ft . of A, tr act 1594
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED t hat , in vi e w of t he f in dings at said hearing,
t he Pla nn ing Comm i s s ion does grant t his conditional u s e pe rmi t to se rve beer
and wine i n conjunct ion with a bona f ide restau rant, and as a supplemen t to the
serving of food only; permission for this use based on the condition th a t no
bar, with th e exception of a serv ing counter, will be co nst r ucted on the
premises t o be used for the d i spensing of bee r and wi ne. The re as ons for gra nt i ng
this request, being that th e Planning Conmission feels the applicant s have
submitted themselves, as well as th e history of t heir bu sin ess , as being a
famil y type operat i on and t here appe ars no reason for t heir propos e d business
t o attract clie nt s fo r be er or wine onl y. The pa rking f acilit ie s on the site,
are ample for thi s struc t ure or any futur e addi t ion t hat may be ne ce ss ary .
