A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED ON HERMOSA AVENUE 1N THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DOES RESOLVE as follo ws:
WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commiss i on, under the provisions of Ordinance
N.S. 154, ap p lic at ion for c onditional use pe rmit by Way ne Patrick Tezak,
upon p rope rty loc&ted at 1401 Hermosa Av e nue ; and
WHEREAS, the Planni ng Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach did on Novemb er
13, 19 67, co nd uct a duly adv e r ti s e d publi c hearing to co nsider this appli ca tion
to serv e bee r and win e i n conjunction with a bo na fide restaurant on that
pro pe rty des c rib e d as:

NOW", THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, in vi ew of the findings at S3id hearin g ,
the Planning Commission doe s gr ant thi s conditional use permit to se rv e be e r
and win e in c onjuncti o n with a bon a fide re st au ra nt becaus e it has been
det e rmin e d th a t it would not be detrimen t al to the surrounding area, and
the test im ony presented indicates tha t t he servin g of beer and wine is only
a s up pleme nt to t he serving o f food. Permission for this use is bas ed on
the conditi on t hat t he servi ng of beer and wine be restricted to the dining
room, which pres ~nt ly compris es the ea s terl y half of the total building, as
designated by th e plo t plan submitt e d by t he applicant, and al s o, that the
serving of beer and wine be in cidental t o the serving of food in a bona fide
restaurant.
The foregoing resolution was adop t ed by th e Pl a nning Comm ission at a regular
mee ting of th e Commissio n held on November 13, 1967, by the fol l owi ng vote:
