HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 86-011 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION P.C. 86-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA GRANTING A MODIFICATION TO THE C.U.P. FOR A PRIVATE SCHOOL LOCATED AT 425 VALLEY DRIVE. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach held a public hearing on January 7, 1986 to consider the request of the International Bilingual School for a modification to the existing Conditional Use Permit for the operation of a private school; and WHEREAS, the modification involves the addition of one (1) mobile classroom of 1440 square feet; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the use is consistent with both the zoning and General Plan; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the increase in classroom area will not adversely impact the sur­ rounding area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission does hereby approve a modification to C.U.P. B.Z.A. 154-583 to allow the placement of one (1) additional mobile classroom, as depicted on the submitted drawings, subject to the following conditions: 1. 2. 3. 4. That all signs posted on the property be bilingual. That the school be open to the public on weekends and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. That this Conditional Use Permit is awarded on the con­ dition that the applicant will demonstrate due apprecia­ tion of the laws and regulations of the agencies having jurisdiction over the school. VOTE: requirements of the Uniform Building Code, Uniform Fire Code and Titles 19 and 24 of the California Administra­ tive Code for educational occupancies.
