RESOLUTION P.C. 86-4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA APPROVING A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN AUTO RENTAL AGENCY AT 505 PACIFIC
COAST HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach
4 held a public hearing on January 7, 1986 to consider this matter

and made the following findings:

The proposed use is compatible with the surrounding area
and consistent with the General Plan; and
The imposition of Conditions will mitigate any signifi
cant impacts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach does hereby approve a Conditional
Use Permit subject to the following conditions:

Th~ site shall be developed in accordanc~ with the prelimi
nary site plan printed November 1, 1985 prior to the opera
tion of the rental agency. Site development shall include,
but is not limited to, paving and striping of all parking and
storage areas and repair or replacement of damaged or unused
sidewalks and driveway aprons.
All parking and storage areas shall be maintained free of
unregistered and derelict vehicles or parts.
A covenant shal 1 be recorded prohibiting the separation or
sale of the individual parcels which constitute the overall
subject property as shown on the submitted plans.
All signs shall be approved by the Department of Building and
Safety prior to operation of t h e auto rental agency.
The storage of vehicles uitilized for the auto rental agency
shall be limited to the areas indicated on the submitted
plans. All cars utilizing this business shall be in the 15
spaces provided and not on a public thoroughfare.
The unit formerly occupied by "flowers by Carol" shal 1 be
demolished or remodeled to repair fire damage within six
months.
Visual screening shall be provided along the west side of the
north parking lot adjacent to residential development.
