Home My WebLink AboutPC Resolution 86-19RESOLUTION P.C. 86-19 1 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO DELETE PORTIONS OF POWER STREET 3 AND TWENTIETH STREET, ON THE CONDITION THAT A TENTATIVE TRACT MAP AND VACATION OF POWER STREET IS APPROVED. 4 5 6 7 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the deletion of a portion of Power Street southerly of 20th Street and the segment of 20th Street connecting the separate segments 8 of Power Street from the General Plan. The Commission made the 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 following findings: 1. 2 . Topography of the area would cause the cost of street con struct ion to be prohibitively expensive; Because of the topography, the proposed right-of-way would not provide access to lots on the easterly side of the easement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa. Beach does hereby recommend an amendment to the Circulation Element of the General Plan to delete portions of Power Street and twentieth Street, as shown on attached Ex hibit A, on the condition that a Tentative Tract Map and vacation of Power Street is approved.
