RESOLUTION P.C. 86-31
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO ALLOW
A MINIMUM OF ONE DWELLING UNIT PER LEGAL LOT IN ·AREAS DESIGNATED
FOR RESIDENTIAL USE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach
held a public hearing on this matter on June 3, 1986 and made the
following Findings:

In all residential designated areas, there exist legal lots
on which a single dwelling unit does not conform to the den
sity designation;
To prevent use of such lots for at least one (1) residential
unit may encourage a claim of inverse condemnation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach does hereby recommend a General Plan
Amendment to allow a minimum of one (1) dwelling unit per legal
lot in areas designated for residential use.
VOTE: AYES: Cornrns.Peirce,Rue, Schulte,Chmn.Compton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Comm. Sheldon
ABSTAIN: None

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution P.C. 86-31 is a
true and complete record of the action taken by the Planning Com
mission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California at their regular
meeting of June 3, 1986.
