RESOLUTION P.C. 86-39
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR LIVE
ENTERTAINMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH A RESTAURANT AT 2701 PACIFIC
COAST HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
July 15, 1986, to consider this matter and made the following

The proposed project involves constructing a platform stage
and providing live background music;
The proposed project is compatible with the surrounding area
and is consistent with the General Plan and Zoning Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach, California does hereby approve a
Conditional Use Permit for live entertainment in conjunction with
a restaurant at 2701 Pacific Coast Highway subject to the follow
ing conditions:

Live entertainment shall be permitted from 11:00 a.m. to
11:00 p.m.
Live entertainment shall be limited to background music only.
A maximum of four (4) musicians shall be permitted at any one
time, and they shall perform on the stage only.
The volume of noise shall be controlled so as not to generate
complaints from neighboring residents.
Dancing shall be prohibited.
The stage shal 1 be located along the southern wal 1 of the
banquet room, as shown on plans submitted on May 19, 1986.
No Building Permits shall be issued for the stage until the
sound-attenuation wall has been completed per City Council
Resolution No. 86-4927.
Three (3) sets of plans showing the location of the stage as
approved shal 1 be submitted to the Planning Department and
approved prior to issuance of Building Permits.
