1 I I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL RECOGNIZE A REPRESENTATIVE OF
2 11 THE PLANNING COMMISSION AT CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS TO EXPRESS THE
II VIEWPOINT OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON ALL MATTERS WHICH INVOLVE
3 THE PLANNING COMMISSION.
4 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission discussed the subject matter
5 at their August 19, 1986 meeting and resolved the following:
6 1. The City Council should have more precise imput from the
7 Planning Commission in regard to matters involving the Plan-
8 ning Commission;
9 2. Oral expression of the planning Commission's recommendation
10 may improve the City Council's understanding of the Planning
11 Commission's position concerning various matters;
12 3. Planning Commission and City Council's relations may improve
13 through a Planning Commissioner acting as an official liason
14 officer· '

16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
17 of the City of Hermosa Beach, California recommends that a rep-
18
resentative of the Planning Commission acting in an official lia-
19 son capacity be recognized at City Council meetings to express
20 the viewpoint of the Planning Commission on al 1 matters which
21 involve the Planning Commission.
