l A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING AMENDING THE
ZONING MAP FOR VARIOUS AREAS WITHIN THE CITY AS SHOWN ON THE AT-
2 TACHED EXHIBITS A THROUGH D AND AS DESCRIBED BELOW.
3 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
4 September 16, 1986 and made the following Findings:
5 1. The subject properties are Open Space recreational areas;
6 2. The State law requires consistency between zoning and the
7 General Plan and two of the areas are inconsistently zoned (8th &
8 Valley Park and Hermosa Valley School), and one area was recently
9 designated Open Space (Ingleside Park);
10 3. Rezoning the subject properties as indicated on the attached
11 Exhibits A through D will be consistent with General Plan;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
recommends amending the Zoning Map for various areas as shown on
the attached Exhibits and described as follows:
16 Ingleside Park (Ingleside & 33rd Street), Parcel 28, of Block 123
17 of the Shakespeare Tract: from R-2 Zone to Open Space Zone.
18 Seaview Park (19th & Prospect), Parcel 2, of Parcel Map No. 59-
19 64: from Unclassified Zone to Open Space Zone.
20 8th & Valley Park (Southwest corner of 8th Street and Valley
21 Drive), Portion of Lot A of Tract 2002, 35' x 100' in size: from
22 R-3 Zone to Open Space Zone.
23 Hermosa Valley School (Portion of Playground), Lot 1 through 20
24 of the Hermosa Garden Tract: from R-3 Zone to Open Space Zone.
