RESOLUTION P.C. 87-24
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A VARIANCE TO ALLOW SWIMMING POOL
EQUIPMENT TO ENCROACH INTO THE REQUIRED REAR YARD SETBACK AT 489
-25TH STREET.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
April 21, 1987 to receive oral and written testimony regarding
this matter pursuant to applicable law and made the following
Findings:
A. The applicant had an approved set of plans indicating the
pool equipment was to be located away from the required four
(4) foot setback;
B. The equipment was not installed as approved but was
constructed to the rear and side property lines;
C. The site contains sufficient area in which the equipment may
be relocated to Building and Zoning setback requirements;
D. There are no unusual features of size, shape, or typography
which qualify this property for a variance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby deny a
variance to allow pool equipment to encroach into the
required rear and sideyard setbacks at 498 -25th Street.

NOES: Comm.Compton
