RESOLUTION P.C. 87-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A PARKING PLAN FOR A NEW RESTAURANT
IN A SHOPPING CENTER AT 1123 AVIATION BOULEVARD AND APPROVING A
NEGATIVE DECLARATION.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May
5, 1987 to receive oral and written testimony regarding this
matter and made the following Findings:
A. The proposed use is compatible with the zoning and General
Plan;
B. The imposed conditions of approval will mitigate any
significant problems which may occur with the project;
C. Peak hours of operations for businesses in the shopping
center vary which minimize traffic and parking demands;
D. The shopping center contains 186 parking spaces;
E. The shopping center contains approximately 45,760 square feet
of gross floor area;
F. The Zoning Code requires 1 parking space for each 250 square
feet of gross floor area.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby approve
a Parking Plan for a restaurant at 1123 Aviation Boulevard
subject to the following conditions.
1. A Covenant shall be recorded with the deed for the site with
the City a party thereto, 1 imi ting the use of the site and
prohibiting the elimination of any parking spaces.
2. The parking area shall be as shown and consist of a minimum
of 186 parking spaces.
3. A permit shall be obtained for the wall constructed in the
restaurant and shall conform to all building regulations.
4. Any modifications to the Parking Plan or restaurant shall be
subject to approval by the Planning Director.
