HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 87-301 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION P.C. 87-30 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A PARKING PLAN, AMENDING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT RESOLUTION P.C. 87-2 AND APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR NEW AND USED AUTOMOBILE LOT AT 840 PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY, KNOWN AS CASEY'S ISUZU. WHEREAS the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 19, 1987 to receive oral and written testimony regarding this matter and made the following Findings: A. B. The proposed use is compatible with the zoning and General Plan; The existing Conditional Use Permit, Resolution P.C. 87-2, requires fifteen (15) on-site parking spaces; C. The Planning Commission 'has determined a need for more D. E. parking for the business; The applicant wi 11 provide five (5) on-site parking spaces and lease the remaining fifteen (15) spaces from adjacent businesses with a 200 foot radius; The imposed conditions will mitigate any significant problems which may occur with the project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, Ca l ifornia does hereby approve a Parking Plan to amend the Condit i onal Use Permit, Resolution P.C. 87-2, and approve a Negative Declaration for the property at 840 Pacific Coast Highway, Casey's Isuzu subject to the following Conditions: 1. Parking space lease agreements shall be entered into between adjacent businesses within a 200 foot radius of 840 Pacific Coast Highway, Casey's Isuzu. a. b. c. The lease agreements shall be for a minimum of six (6) months. The lease agreements shal I be submitted to the City Attorney for review and approval. The leases shall have a clause requiring that the City be notified of any changes or termination of these leases prior to the change or termination occurring. -1 - ,. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 2. The Parking Plan shall be as shown and consist of twenty (20) parking spaces. 3. Upon termination of any lease agreements, the applicant shall replace the lost parking on-site immediately. 4. Any modification of the Parking Plan or car lot shall be subject to approval by the Planning Director. 5. Leased parking shall be solely for use by Casey's Isuzu employees. a. b. Use of leased parking areas for vehicles for sale shall be prohibited. The leased parking areas shall have signs posted indicating common use of parking for the business and Casey's Isuzu employees and shall be subject to approval by the Planning Director. 6. The five (5) on-site spaces shall be available for customer use only and shall be posted as such. 7. All conditions of this Conditional Use Permit shall be complied with before this Conditional Use Permit becomes effective.
