HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 88-09a,, RESOLUTION 88-9(a) 1 I IA RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF AMENDING THE ZONING MAP 2 IIBY CHANGING THE ZONE FOR THE AREA AS DESCRIBED BELOW AND SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED MAP 3 4 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 19, 1988 and made the following Findings: 5 " 6 7 8 9 A. B. The area is adjacent to a high density area to the south and General Commercial to the east and north; A more appropriate change to correct the inconsistency is to change to General Plan from Medium Density to High pensity; 10 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Plannning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby recommend ll l l that the Zoning Map not be amended, but rather amend the General Plan to conform with the R-3 zoning for the area as shown on the 12 attached map and described as follows: 13 Area 1, (Map 1) Rezone from R-3 Zone to R-2 Zone, legally descibed as Lots 1-15 & 18-24, Block 10, First Addition to 14 11Hermosa Beach; Lots 1-15 & 18-22, Block 9, First Addition to Hermosa Beach; Lot 1, Parcel Map #10098; 15 " 16 17 18 VOTE: AYES: Comm.Rue,Chmn.Compton NOES: Comm.DeBellis ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Comms.Ingell,Peirce CERTIFICATION 19 11 1 hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution P.C. 88-9(a) is a true and complete record of the action taken by the Planning 20 l l commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California at their 24 25 26 27 28 = ,{~n g ::~ January 19, 1988. / ,,,~ ,/ ~ ~--,,---~~ Chairman Micba !Schubach, :Z-2 --&J Date 7 -- .:r- I )O.S I JO .
