RESOLUTION P.C. 88-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A PARKING PLAN FOR A 400 SQUARE FOOT
RETAIL ADDITION AT 1100 PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY AND NEGATIVE
DECLARATION.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
March 1, 1988 to receive oral and written testimony regarding
this matter and made the following Findings:
A. The proposed addition is compatible with the zoning ordinance
and General Plan;
B. The imposed Conditions will mitigate any significant problems
which may occur with this project;
C. Businesses in the shopping center have peak hour parking
demands at differing times throughout the day;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE

plan shall be submitted for review and approval by the
Planning Department.
Lighting shall remain on from dusk to until one hour
after the last business closes.
Lighting shall be controlled by an automatic timer.
2. The permitted uses shall be limited in relation to peak hour
parking demand of the various uses.
a. Any change of the existing uses located within the
shopping center shall require Planning Commission review
and approval.
3. A covenant with the City included as a party thereto, shall
be recorded limiting uses in the shopping center without
Planning Commission review and approval.

4. The parking lot shall be as shown and consist of 175 parking
spaces.
5. Any modifications to the Parking Plan shall be subject to
review by the Planning Director and/or Planning Commission.
6. Signs to be posted at common use parking areas along the park
indicating that parking is available for people using the
park.
7. Any modification of existing landscaping must be subject to
approval from the Planning Director.
