HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 88-37• I 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION P.C. 88-37 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING AMENDING THE ZONING MAP BY CHANGING THE ZONE FOR THE AREAS AS DESCRIBED BELOW AND SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED MAPS AND RECOMMENDING MORE STUDY OF SPECIFIC PORTIONS OF AREAS 9A AND 9B AS NOTED ON ATTACHED MAP AND DESCRIBED BELOW AND AN ENVIRONMENTAL NEGATIVE DECLARATION. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 19, 1988 and made the following Findings: A. The State law requires consistency between the zoning and the General Plan; B. Rezoning the ... subject properties as indicated on the attached maps will result in consistency between the zoning and General Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby recommend that the Zoning Map shall be amended as shown on the attached maps and legally described as follows: 1. Rezone area 9A except a port ion between 6th Street, 7th Plance, Prospect Avenue and the City limits from R-2 to R-1, legally described as follows:• Lots 21-29 inclusive, 30-34 inclusive, east 3 feet portion of 35 and 36 of Tract 5209, Lots 1-8 inclusive, 10-45 inclusive of Hermosa Heights Tract. Lots 1-9 inclusive, 18-37 inclusive of Hollowell Tract. Lots 1-7 inclusive, 9-29 inclusive of the Dillon Tract. 2. Rezone area 9B except the R-3 portion fronting on the north side of 5th Street, west of Pine Avenue to the west boundary of the subject area, from R-2 to R-2B: Lots 1-10 inclusive, 23-32 inclusive of Wilson and Lind's Tract. Lots 2-6 inclusive, 1-19 inclusive of Glorietta Tract. Lots 1, 2, 7, portion 9, 10, 11 of Block 85 of 2nd Addition of Hermosa Beach Tract. Condominium Tract Maps #42019, 41234, 38826, 13703, 10651, 6031. The following areas are recommended for further study prior to rezoning: Portion of area 9A bounded by 7th Place, 6th Street, Prospect Avenue and easterly City limits may possibly be rezoned to R-2B. Portion of area 9B fronting on Fifth Street, west of Pine Avenue to the west boundary of area 9B may possibly remain zoned R-3.
