A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
1 BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM
M-1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING TO R-2, TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE AND
2 A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 601, 615, AND
619-621 2ND STREET, LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 2, 3, AND 4, TRACT
3 NO. 81.
4 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
5 June 21, 1988 to receive oral and written testimony regarding
6 this matter and made the following Findings:
7 A. The location and size of the subject property is adequate and
8 more suitable for residential development than manufacturing;
9 B. Changing the zoning to R-2 is a logical extension to the R-2
10 zone adjacent to the east and would not result in "spot
11 zoning";
12 C. The proposed zone change is consistent with the General Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby
recommend a zone cbage from M-1, Light Manufacturing, to R-2,
Two-Family Residential zone for 601, 615, and 619-621 2nd
Street.
