A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
2 BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING AMENDING THE ZONING MAP BY
CHANGING THE ZONE FOR THE AREAS AS DESCRIBED BELOW AND SHOWN ON
3 THE ATTACHED MAP AND RECOMMENDING AN ENVIRONMENTAL NEGATIVE
DECLARATION.

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
September 20, 1988 and made the following Findings:
A. State law requires consistency between the zoning and General
Plan;
B. Rezoning of area 2D from R-2 to Rl-A will result in
maintaining the density status quo and bring the zoning into
consistency;
C. The majority of the lots in area 2D are large enough to allow
for two units under the proposed zone change;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby recommend
15 that the Zoning Map shall be amended as shown on the attached
maps and legally described as follows:

1. Rezone area 2D from R-2 to R-lA, legally described as
