HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 88-1021 2 3 4 RESOLUTION P.C. 88-102 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND A NEGATIVE DECLARATION TO ALLOW VIDEO SALES AND RENTALS, AT 1312 HERMOSA AVENUE. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on 5 December 6, 1988 to receive oral and written testimony on this 6 matter and made the following findings: 7 8 9 A. The proposed use is compatible with surrounding neighborhood and is consistent with the General Plan; IO B. The imposition of conditions of approval will mitigate any 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 significant problems. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California does hereby approve a Conditional Use Permit and an Environmental Negative Declaration to allow video sales and rentals, at 1312 Hermosa Avenue subject to the following conditions: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. The establishment shall not adversely affect the welfare of residents and/or commercial establishments nearby. The business shall provide adequate management and supervisory techniques to prevent loitering, unruliness, and boisterous activities of patrons outside the business or in the immediate area. The business shall validate its customer's parking. The interior layout shall be as shown on submitted plans and any changes to the interior shall be subject to review and approval by the Planning Director; and revised plans shall be submitted indicating the following modification within 30 days of the Planning Commission approval and subject to review and approval by the Planning Director: Any violation of the conditions of approval and/or violation of Hermosa Beach Municipal Code may be grounds for the issuance of a citation or public hearing for revocation of the conditional use permit.
