HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 89-19RESOLUTION P.C. 89-19 l ,' A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA 2 l!BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING AMENDING THE ZONING MAP BY CHANGING THE ZONE FROM M-1 AND OPEN SPACE TO SPECIFIC PLAN AREA 3 11 FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED BELOW AND SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED MAP AND ADOPTION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL NEGATIVE DECLARATION. 4 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on 5 "February 21, 1989 and made the following Findings: 6 .. A. State law requires consistency between the zoning and General Plan; 7 8 " B. Rezoning of the subject area from M-1 and Open Space to 9 10 11 12 13 C. Specific Plan Area will result in consistency between the zoning and General Plan; The property is adequate in size and shape for a Specific Plan Area zoning; 14 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby recommend 15 ll that the Zoning Map shall be amended as shown on the attached map and legally described as a portion of Lot 42, Block 78 of the 16 11 Second Addition to Hermosa Beach Tract (540 First Street), and the following text shall be added to the zoning ordinance: 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 1. All zoning requirements contained in the R-2 standards shall be adhered to with the following modifications: a. b. One guest parking space shall be provided per unit. One dwelling unit shall be permitted per each two thousand (2,000) square feet of land area.
