HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 89-261 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION P.C. 89-26 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND PARKING PLAN TO ALLOW OUTSIDE DINING AT NUMERO UNO PIZZERIA, 2205 PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY, LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 13, 14, AND 15, HERMOSA VIEW TRACT. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 21, April 4, May 2 and May 16, 1989, to receive oral and written testimony on this matter and made the following Findings: A. The applicant is requesting to eliminate and relocate a handicapped parking space for the proposed outdoor dining area; B. The site was constructed under old parking standards, therefore, the site is already nonconforming; C. The proposed outside dining area will eliminate one parking space thus making the site more nonconforming; D. The proposed location of the additional parking spaces away from the subject site is not conveniently and safely accessible to customer vehicles; D. Section 1153 of the Zoning Code states that it is illegal to reduce or eliminate required off-street parking. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby deny a Conditional Use Permit and Parking Plan at Numero Uno Pizzeria, 2205 Pacific Coast Highway.
