HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 89-792 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION P.C. 89-79 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, TO CONSIDER GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS AND/OR ZONE CHANGES FOR THE PROPERTY BOUNDED BY PROSPECT AVENUE ON THE WEST, ARTESIA BOULEVARD ON THE NORTH, AND 24TH STREET ON THE SOUTH. WHEREAS, the current General Plan designation for the subject area is General Commercial, while the zoning is R-P Residential-Professional, and there exists a mix of residential, commercial and office uses, and; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission desires to study and consider General Plan amendments and/or zone changes to resolve the General Plan, zoning, and land use inconsistencies for the subject area, and; WHEREAS, prior to consideration of the amendments an environmental assessment must be prepared, and a public hearing scheduled; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California does hereby direct staff to conduct an environmental assessment and schedule a public hearing for consideration of General Plan amendments and/or zone changes for the property bounded by Prospect Avenue on the west, Artesia Boulevard on the North and 24th on the South.
