The applicant proposes to reduce the previously approved and conditioned setback of eight (8) feet to five (5) feet; B. The average setback along 10th Street is fourteen (14) feet, and the setback of the adjacent project to the east is ten (10) feet, meaning that the proposed reduced setback will be inconsistent with other setbacks on the street, and will potentially interfere with views; C. The proposed change would make the project incompatible with the surrounding neighborhood, and therefore would be detrimental to the use and enjoyment of surrounding properties; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California does hereby deny a request to amend a Conditional Use Permit to reduce the front yard setback.
