RESOLUTION HIC 78-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE HERMOSA IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION
APPROVING A CHANGE IN COPY FOR AN EXISTING POLE
SIGN WHICH IS LOCATED ON AN R-3 LOT
WHEREAS, the Hermosa Improvement Commission, on February 21, 1978, reviewed
a proposed change in copy rnor an existing pole sign at 1839 Pacific Coast Hwy;
and
WHEREAS, the Commission found tha.t such a request would neces·s'itate a· vaf":i 'ahce
in that the prope:rty i:s zoned R-3; and
WHEREAS, the Commission noted that the property has been used as a hospital
for at least 20 years and that the applicant has just completed an interior
remodel of the hospital;
NOW, THEREFORE, B[ IT RESOLVED that the Hermosa Improvement Commission hereby
grants a temporary approval for new copy for the existing pole sign provided
such sign is abated within a nine month period, and that a monument (or
other type) sign be submitted for consideration within the nine month time
period.
