3 . Approval of December 6, 1988 minutes.
4. Approval of
(a) Resolution P.C. 88-99 recommending approval of the General
Plan amendment for area 3 from Low Density to Medium Density
& Enrivonmental Negative Declaration.
(b) Resolution P.C. 88-100 recommending approval of the General
Plan amendment for area BA from Low Density to Medium Densi
ty & Environmental Negative Declaration.
(c) Resolution P.C. 88-102 approving a Conditional Use Permit
for video sales and rental & Environmental Negative Declara
tion at 1312 Hermosa Avenue, Hermosa Video.
(d) Resolution P.C. 88-103 denying a variance to allow a new
second story & first story addition to encroach into the
side yard setback at 576 21st Street.
(e) Resolution P.C. 88-104 recommending approval of the General
Plan amendment for 1344 & 1348 Manhattan Avenue, 1428 Mon
terey Blvd. & 1346 Bayview Dr. from General Commercial to
High Density & Environmental Negative Declaration.
(f) Resolution P.C. 88-105 recommending denial of vacating a
portion of 21st Street near Loma Drive.
(g) Resolution P.C. 88-106 recommending approval of the General
Plan amendment & zone change of the west side of Myrtle
Avenue between 24th Street & 25th Street from Medium Densi
ty, R-2, to Low Density, R-1 & Environmental Negative
Declaration.

related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this

Public Bearings
6. Conditional Use Permit, Parking Plan & Environmental Negative
Declaration to construct a new restaurant with drive-thru ser
vice (El Pollo Loco) at 1107 Pacific Coast Highway.
Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit,
Parking Plan & Environmental Negative Declaration.
7. Parking Plan, Conditional Use Permit Amendment and Environmental
Negative Declaration for a 400 square foot restaurant expansion
at 934 Hermosa Avenue, La Traviata.
Recommended Action: To approve the Parking Plan, Conditional
Use Permit Amendment & Environmental Negative Declaration.
8. Parking Plan £mendment at 2306 Pacific Coast Highway & Condi
tional Use Permit Amendment at 2420 Pacific Coast Highway to
allow the opening of the door on Borden Street during specific
hours & adopt Environmental Negative Declarations.
Recommended Action: To deny the Conditional Use Permit Amend
ment & Parking Plan Amendment.
9. Zone change from M-1 & Open Space to R-2 or to such other zone
as deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission, Conditional
Use Permit & Vesting Tentative Tract Map #46903 for a 15 unit
condominium at 603 1st Street & adoption of an Environmental
Negative Declaration (continued from 12/6/88 meeting).
Recommended Action: To recommend approval of said zone change,
Vesting Tentative Tract Map and Conditional Use Permit.
