(a) Resolution P.C. 89-14 approving a Conditional Use Permit and
Tentative Parcel Map #20323 for a 4-unit condominium at 834-
840 Monterey Boulevard.

5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not
related to a public bearing on the agenda may do so at this
time.

Public Hearings
6. Variance to add third story and maintain existing nonconforming
setbacks and adoption of an Environmental Negative Declaration ~
at 623 Monterey Boulevard (continued from 2/7/89 meeting).
Recommended Action: To deny the variance.
7. Reconsideration of a variance to not provide guest parking space
and adoption of the Environmental Negative Declaration at 1139
Sixth Street (continued from 2/7/89 meeting).
Recommended Action: To deny the variance.
8. Conditional Use Permit & Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #20644 for
a 2-unit condominium at 1722 Golden Avenue.
Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit and
Vesting Tentative Parcel Map.
9. Conditional Use Permit for off-sale of beer and wine & Environ
mental Negative Declaration at SO Pier Avenue, Pier Market.
Recommended Action: To approve said Conditional Use Permit &
Environmental Negative Declaration.

10. Zone change from M-1 & Open Space to R-2 or to such other zone
as deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission, Conditional
Use Permit & Vesting Tentative Tract Map #46826 for a 13-unit
condominium and adoption of the Environmental Negative Declara
tion at 540 First Street.
Recommended Action: To recommend rezoning to Specific Plan
Area, approval of Conditional Use Permit and revised Vesting
Tentative Tract Map, and Environmental Negative Declaration.
11. Text amendment regarding view blockage and height measurement
method.
Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said text amend
ment and approval of the Environmental Negative Declaration.

12. Interpretation of Section 1302 regarding a non-conforming
residential use in C-2 zone at 45 14th Street (continued from
1/17/89 & 2/7/89 meetings).
Recommended Action: To deny the proposed development and ap
prove policy statement.
