Note: No Smoking is allowed in the Council Chambers Section I 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll Call 3. Approval of May 16, 1989 minutes 4. Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 89-26 denying a Conditional Use Permit & Parking Plan to allow outdoor dining at 2205 Pacific Coast Highway, Numero Uno Pizzeria. (b) Resolution P.C. 89-39 approving a Conditional Use Permit for sale of beer and wine and Environmental Negative Declaration at 322 Pacific Coast Highway, Rosa's Mexican Food. (c) Resolution P.C. 89-40 approving a Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #20284 for a 2 unit condominium at 235 Manhattan Avenue. (d) Resolution P.C. 89-41 approving a sign waiver for Hermosa Valley School. Section II Communications 5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. Section III Public Hearings 6. Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map #20620 for a 3- unit condominium at 1344 Manhattan Avenue. Recommended Action: To continue to June 20, 1989 meeting. 7. Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map #20820 for a 2- unit condominium at 632 Sixth Street. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map. 8. Conditional Use Permit for sale of beer and wine at 200 Longfel­ low Avenue, La Penita II, and adoption of the Environmental Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit and adopt the Environmental Negative Declaration. -1 - c;. -. 9. Text amendment regarding nonconforming uses and structures and adoption of the Environmental Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To continue to June 20, 1989 meeting. Section IV Hearings / 10. Reconsideration of Biltmore Site Task Force recqmmendation changing the General Plan and the zoning of the ;public!y owned portion of Biltmore Site from Specific Plan Area --to Open Space - for that portion west of Beeb Drive and to General Commercial and C-2 for that portion east of Beach Drive between 14th Street and 15th Street. 11. Sign waiver for Hermosa Beach Community Center Foundation. Recommended Action: To approve the sign with conditions. Section V 12. Staff Items a. Memorandum regarding definition of private school. b. Letter from and response to Mr. Harold Cohen. c. Planning Commission activity report of March, 1989. d. Memorandum regarding Planning Commission absence record. e.
