Note: No Smoking is allowed in the Council Chambers Section I 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll Call 3. Approval of August 1, 1989 minutes 4. Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 89-55 recommending amending the zoning map by changing the zone for the northwest quadrant of the Multi-Use Corridor & adoption of the Environmental Negative Declaration. (b) Resolution P.C. 89-56 approving a Conditional Use Permit & Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #21279 for a 2-unit condomini­ um at 1038 7th Street. (c) Resolution P.C. 89-57 amending Resolution P.C. 89-4 and approving a Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Tract Map #46903 for an 11-unit condominium at 603 1st Street. (d) Resolution P.C. 89-58 amending Resolution P.C. 89-18 and approving a Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Tract Map #46826 for a 10-unit condominium at 540 1st Street. (e) Resolution P.C. 89-59 recommending amending the zoning or­ dinance regarding nonconforming buildings and uses and adopting the Environmental Negative Declaration. Section II Communications 5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. Section III Public Hearings 6. Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #21198 for a 3-unit condominium at 801 Bard Street. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map. -1 - 7. Conditional Use Permit for off-sale alcohol and Environmental Negative Declaration at 2455 Pacific Coast Highway, Interna­ tional Liquor. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit and adopt the Environmental Negative Declaration. 8. Conditional Use Permit for expansion of the auto body shop and adoption of the Environmental Negative Declaration at 555 Pacific Coast Highway, E & E Auto Body. Recommended Action: To deny the the Conditional Use Permit. 9. Variance to encroach into the minimum three foot front yard setback for balconies and Environmental Negative Declaration at 2214 Monterey Boulevard. Recommended Action: To deny the variance. 10. Text amendment to require precise development plan for non­ discretionary projects and adoption of the Environmental Nega­ tive Declaration. Recommended Action: To adopt resolution recommending approval of amendment. Section IV Hearings 11. Review of C.U.P. allowing the opening of the door on Borden Street at 2420 Pacific Coast Highway between 7:00 A.M. and 6:30 P .M. as part of a parking agreement between Hope Chapel and Pacific Plaza Recommended Action: To continue to allow the agreement Section V 12. Staff Items a. Memorandum regarding Planning Commission liaison for August 22, 1989 City Council meeting. b. City Council minutes of July 25, 1989. c. Tentative future Planning Commission agenda. 13.
