Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 89-63 approving a Conditional Use Permit for off-sale alcohol and Environmental Negative Declaration at 2455 Pacific Coast Highway, International Liquor. (b) Resolution P.C. 89-65 approving a Conditional Use Permit for off-sale alcohol and Environmental Negative Declaration at 240 Pier Avenue, Abe's Liquor. (c) Resolution P.C. 89-72 approving a Conditional Use Permit and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #21471 for a 3-unit condominium at 1101 Valley Drive. (d) Resolution P.C. 89-73 approving a Conditional Use Permit and Environmental Negative Declaration to allow outdoor seating in conjunction with a bakery at 517 Pier Avenue, The Pepper­ mint Cafe. (e) Resolution P.C. 89-75 denying a Conditional Use Permit amendment, variance and parking plan to allow an additional awning to an existing car wash/gas station at 1000 Pacific Coast Highway, Hermosa Car Wash. Section II Communications 5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. Section III Public Hearings 6. Conditional Use Permit amendment to revise the front yard set­ back of a two-unit condominium at 612 10th Street. Recommended Action: To deny the C.U.P. amendment. 7. Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map #21493 for a 2- unit condominium at 840 15th Street. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Parcel Map. -1 - • 8. Parking Plan for shared parking to allow a martial art studio at 1310-1314 Pacific Coast Highway. Recommended Action: To approve the Parking Plan. 9. Conditional Use Permit amendment & Environmental Negative Decla­ ration for additional parts storage for Vasek Polak BMW & Subaru Dealerships at 2851 Pacific Coast Highway. Recommended Act ion: To approve a master C. U. P. for the car dealerships and storage area. Variance for car stackers to encroach into the setback require­ ment & Environmental Negative Declaration at 2901 Pacific Coast Highway, Vasek Polak BMW Dealership. Recommended Action: To deny the variance. Consideration of the revocation of the existing Conditional Use Permit for Vasek Polak BMW Dealership at 2901 Pacific Coast Hwy. Recommended Action: To amend the current Conditional Use Per­ mits v i a a master C.U.P. with additional conditions. 10. Text amendment regarding view blockage and height measurement method & adoption of the Environmental Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said text amend­ ment & Environmental Negative Declaration. Section IV Hearings 11. Appeal of lot merger determination for 518 Hol lowel 1 Avenue, 1910 Ardmore Avenue and 721 30th Street. Recommended Action: To not merge the lots at 518 Hol lowel 1 Avenue and merge the lots at 1910 Ardmore Avenue and 72 30th Street. 12. To rezone portions of the area at the southeast corner of Arte­ sia Boulevard & Prospect Avenue from R-P to C-2 and R-P to R-1 and to General Plan amend a portion from General Commercial to Low Density Residential. Recommended Action: To adopt resolution of intent and set for public hearing. Section V 13. Staff Items a. Memorandum regarding Planning Commission meeting dates. b. Status regarding the appeal at 415 Pier Avenue. c. Memorandum regarding Planning Commission liaison for October 24, 1989 City Council meeting. d. Tentative future Planning Commission agenda. e.
