Approval of Resolution P.C. 87-53 approving a Conditional Use Permit & an Environmental Negative Declaration to allow a sheet metal shop at 112 Ardmore Avenue;Resolution P.C. 87-55 approving a Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #18932 for a 6- unit condominium project at 442-504 Hermosa Avenue; Resolution P.C. 87-56 approving a Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #18853 for a 4-unit condominium project at 1550 Loma Drive;Resolution P.C. 87-57 approving a Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel #18895 for a 3-unit condominium project at 518 -11th Street; and Resolution P.C. 87-58 recommending establish­ ing regulations for Vesting Tentative Maps. Section II Conmunications 5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. Section III Public Hearings 6. Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #18989 for a 3- unit condominium project at 1452 Loma Drive. Recommended Action: To deny a Conditional Use Permit and Tenta­ tive Parcel Map #18989. 7. Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #19033 for a 3- unit condominium project at 1078 Monterey Boulevard. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #19033. 8. Zone Change from R-2, C-Potentential to C-3, General Commercial or to such other zone as deemed appropriate by the Planning Com­ mission and a Precise Plan for property at 720 -8th Street. Recommended Action: To approve the zone change from R-2, C­ Potential to C-3, General Commercial and Precise Plan. -1 - 9. Text Amendment to Zoning Ordinance & Environmental Negative Dec­ laration to add "Mini-storage, Personal" and "Caretaker's Unit, Conditional Use Permit Required" to Permitted Uses of M-Zone, Manufacturing. Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said Text Amend­ ment and approval of Environmental Negative Declaration. 10. Text Amendment to Zoning Ordinance to permit recycling centers in various zones and require a Conditional Use Permit forcer­ tain facilities; and approve an Environmental Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said text Amend­ ment and approval of Environmental Negative Declaration. Section IV 11. Staff Items -Letter from resident regarding illegal unit abatement. -Memo from Building Director giving 12 month summary of illegal unit abatement. -Memo from Staff requesting Planning Commission to direct staff to schedule for public hearing the variance request for2300 Ozone Court. -Memo from Staff re: First English Evangelical Lutheran Church Case. -Revised Zoning & General Plan Maps -Memo from Staff rescheduling the November 3rd Planning Commis- sion to Wednesday, November 4, 1987 (Election is 11/3/87) -Revised Draft E.I.R. for ATSf Railroad right-of-way. -City Council Minutes 12.
