Approval of Resolution P.C. 87-28 denying a variance to allow a wall to exceed the maximum height within fron yard setback at 906 Prospect Avenue; Resolution P.C. 87-40 approving a Conditional Use Permit, Tentative Parcel Map //18804 for 2 condominiums at 41 -8th Court; Resolution P.C. 87-41 approv­ ing a Conditional Use Permit & Environmental Negative-Decla­ ration for a restaurant expansion & beer/wine license at 1101 Aviation Blvd.; Resolution P.C. 87-42 approving a Parking Plan for a restaurant expansion & Environmental Negative Dec­ laration at 1101 Aviation Blvd.; Resolution P.C. 87-43 ap­ proving a Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Tract Map #18790 for 3 condominiums at 546 -11th St.; Resolution P.C. 87-44 recommending that City Council amend the Zoning Or­ dinance to add general videos, with Conditional Use Permit, to C-1 Zone permitted uses; and Resolution P.C. 87-45 approv­ ing a variance, subject to conditions, to exceed lot coverage at 30 -17th Street. Section II Communications 5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. a. An agent from Guardian Property Management has requested to address the Commission regarding the possibility of allowing a warehouse use with a caretaker's unit in the M Zone. b. Kenneth Kohn has requested to address the Commission regarding the possibility of adding "Mini-storage Facili­ ties" to the C-2 Zone Permitted Uses. -1 - Section III Public Hearings 6. Lot Line Adjustment at 522 -24th Place/437 -24th Street. (UNFINISHED BUSINESS -from 7/7/87 meeting). Recommended Act ion: To approve a Certificate of Comp! iance to allow a Lot Line Adjustment. 7. Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #18813 for a 2- unit condominium project at 1134 Sunset Drive. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map 1/18813. 8. Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #18835 for a 2- unit comdominium project at 1026 Sunset Drive. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #18835. 9. Conditional Use Permit for beer/wine in conjunction with a restaurant at 233 Pacific Coast Highway, Habash Cafe. Recommended Action: To approve Conditional Use Permit. Section IV Hearing: 10. 3rd Quarter General Plan Considerations. Recommended Action: To set for public hearing on 9/1/87. Section V 11. Staff Items -Discussion address at -Memo from meetings. of what issues the Planning Commission wishes to any future Subcommittee/Workshop meetings. Staff re: Liaison for August City Council -Staff Report from City Manager re: Legal Opinion that there is Not a Legal Impediment in the Community Center Grant Deed Vis-A-Vis City Proceeding With a Public Parking Facility. -Copy of article from Western City/July 1987 re: Land Use Regulation -City Council Minutes 12.
