Note: No Smoking is allowed in the Council Chambers Section I 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll Call 3. Approval of April S, 1988 Minutes 4. Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 88-30 approving a variance to provide guest parking in a 15.S' setback rather than the required 17' & Negative Declaration at 1101 Valley Drive. (b) Resolution P.C. 88-29 approving a modification of plans of an approved Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Tract Map #17679 for a 2-unit condo at 429 Bayview Drive. (c) Resolution P.C. 88-32 denying a variance to allow a wall to exceed the maximum height within the sideyard setback of a corner lot at 2919 Hermosa View Drive. (d) Resolution P.C. 88-26 recommending amending the zoning map by changing the zone for area 2. Section II Communications S. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. Section III Public Bearings 6. Variance to exceed maximum allowable height & Negative Declara­ tion at 2012 Loma Drive (continuted from 4/5/88 meeting). Recommended Action: To approve the variance subject to condi­ tions & Negative Declaration. 7. Zone change of area 9 from R-2 to R-1 & R-3 to R-1 & Environmen­ tal Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To recommend approval of rezoning & Nega­ tive Declaration. 8. Parking plan between 2306 Pacific Coast Highway & Hope Chapel to add 760 square feet of office space to building at 2306 Pacific Coast Highway & Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To approved the parking plan & Negative Declaration. -1 - 9. Conditional Use Permit for ticket sales & Negative Declaration at 727 Pacific Coast Highway -Music Plus. Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit & Negative Declaration. 10. Revocation of Conditional Use Permit allowing beer and wine & outdoor dining at 23-25 22nd Street -Martha's Restaurant. Recommended Action: To revoke the Conditional Use Permit. Section IV Bearings 11. Hearing of determination for lot merger group L.M. 88-2. Section V 12. Staff Items a. Planning Commission determination of merger 87-2. b. Status Report on Conditional Use Permit Enforcement Program. c. Staff report regarding special studies of 1. R-3 setback standards for condominiums & apartments. 2. Elimination of the 17' setback off alleys. 3. Study of 50' x 50' lot. d. Memorandum regarding Planning Commission liaison for 4/26/ 1988 City Council meeting. e. City Council minutes of regular meeting on March 22, 1988 & special meetings on March 17, 21 & 29, 1988. f. Article regarding the definition of "family" as it pertains to single family dwellings. 13.
