Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 88-5 denying a variance to eliminate re­ quired Open Space at 40 7th Court. (b) Resolution P.C. 88-7 denying a variance to maintain a deck which encroaches into the required 4' sideyard setback at 845 8th Street. (c) Resolution P.C. 88-14 denying a variance to encroach into the required 17' parking setback at 905 15th Place. Resolution P.C. 88-14(a) approving a variance to allow a 9.7 1 Open Space area rather than required 10' & Environmen­ tal Negative Declaration at 905 15th Place. (d) Resolution P.C. 88-16 approving a Conditional Use Permit & Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #19513 for a 2-unit condominium project at 610 Palm Drive. (e) Resolution P.C. 88-18 approving a Conditional Use Permit & Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #19517 for a 4-unit condominium project at 1111 Valley Drive. Parking plan & Environmental Negative Declaration at 1100 Pacific Coast Highway (Alpha Beta Shopping Center). Recommended Action: To recommend approval of said parking plan & Environmental Negative Declaration. -1 - 7. Text Amendment to Zoning Ordinance & Environmental Negative Dec­ laration regarding projections into required yard areas (con­ tinued from 2/16/1988 meeting). Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said Text Amend­ ment and approval of Environmental Negative Declaration. 8 . Text amendment for regulation regarding nonconforming uses and structures & Environmental Negative Declaration. Recommended Action: To continue this matter to unspecified d ate. Section IV Hearings 9. Minor addition to existing condominium at 40 15th Street . Recommended Action: To approve addition. 10. Appeal of lot merger determination for lot merger groups L.M. 87-3. 11. Request for extension of Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Tract Map #17513 for 4-unit condominium at 1020 Monterey Boulevard . Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Tract Map. Section V 12. Staff Items a . Memorandum from Building Director William Grove regarding attendance at Planning Commission meeting of 3/1/1988. b. Memorandum regarding meeting date for City Council/Planning Commission workshop and circulation element workshop with DKS Consultant and City Council. c.
