Note: No Smoking is allowed in the Council Chambers Section I 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll Call 3. Approval of January 19, 1988 Minutes 4. Approval of (a) Resolution P.C. 87-65 recommending approval of a text amendment to the definition of "restaurant" and "snack bar and/or snack shop". (b) Resolution P.C. 88-8 approving a Condi­ tional Use Permit & Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #18989 for a 3- unit condominium project at 1452 Loma Drive. (c) Resolution P.C. 88-9 recommending amending the zoning map by changing the zone for areas lA & lB. (d) Resolution P.C. 88-9(a) recommend­ ing denial of amending the zoning map by changing the zone for area 1. (e) Resolution P.C. 88-10 recommending a text amendment to require Conditional Use Permit for ticket sales establish­ ments in C-2 zone. Section II Communications 5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this time. Section III Public Hearings 6.-Variance to allow deck to encroach into sideyard setback at 845 & 845 1/2 Eighth Street (continued from 1/19/88 meeting). Recommended Actirin: To continue this matter to 2/16/88 meeting as per applicant and staff request. 7. Variance to provide less than required usable Open Space at 40 7th Court (continued from 1/5/88 meeting). Recommended · Action: To continue this matter to 2/16/88 meeting as per applicant request. 8. Text Amendment to Article 20 of Zoning Code to es~ablish an in­ fractiqn process for Conditional Use Permit violations. Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said Text Amendment. 1 - I - 9 . Variance to encroach into the 17 foot parking setback at 905 15th Place. Recommended Action: T? deny the variance. 10. Text Amendment to Zoning Ordinance regarding Open Space defini­ tion, location and computation & Policy Statement 87-3 regarding coverage of Open Space in conjunction with proposed development (continued from 1/19/88 meeting). Recommended Action: To recommend adoption of said Text Amend­ ment and approval of Policy Statement. Section IV Hearing 11. Text amendment to Zoning Ordinance & Environmental Negative Dec­ laration to add caretaker unit in conjunction with warehouse in M-Zone subject to Conditional Use Permit. Section V 12. Staff Items a. Lot merger determination for group L.M. 87-1. b. City Council Minutes of January 12, 1988. 13. Commissioner Items a. Letter from Rod Merl regarding General Plan amendment and Zone Change of 6th Street -11th Street between Ardmore Avenue & Pacific Coast Highway. 14. Adjournment -? -
