4. Approval of
(a) Resolution P.C. 88-89 approving a Conditional Use Permit &
Tentative Parcel Map #19969 for 2 unit condominium at 918
7th Street. _
(b) Resolution P.C. 88-90 approving a Conditional Use Permit &
Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #20132 for 2 unit condominium
at 640 6th Street.
(c) Resolution P.C. 88-91 approving a Conditional Use Permit &
Vesting Tentative Parcel Map .#20210 for 2 unit condominium
at 514 Hermosa Avenue.
(d) Resolution P.C. 88-92 approving a Conditional Use Permit &
Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #19707 for 2 unit condominium
at 852 Cypress Avenue.
(e) Resolution P.C. 88-94 approving a Conditional Use Permit
amendment to allow outside patio dining & Environmental
Negative Declaration at 190 Hermosa Avenue, Le Petite Cafe.
(f) Resolution P.C. 8~-95 approving a Conditional Use Permit &
Vesting Tentative Parcel Map #20304 for 2 unit condominium
at 1840 Hermosa Avenue.

Communications
5. Anyone wishing to address the Commission regarding a matter not
related to a public hearing on the agenda may do so at this
time.
Section III
Public Hearings
6. Conditional Use Permit & Tentative Parcel Map #20092 for a 2
unit condominium project at 725 9th Street.
Recommended Action: To approve the Conditional Use Permit &
Tentative Parcel Map.

7. Variance to allow garage to encroach into 17' setback and to
provide no guest parking space & adopt the Environmental Nega
tive Declaration at 1836 Palm Drive.
Recommended Action: To deny the variance.
8 . Variance to not provide guest parking space and adoption of the
Environmental Negative Declaration at 1139 Sixth Street.
Recommended Action: To deny the variance.
9. Rezone of area 10 from R-2 to R-1, area 11 from R-3 to R-2 and
area 12 from R-3 to C-3 or to such other zones as deemed ap
propriate by the Planning Commission & adopt and Environmental
negative Declaration.
Recommended Action: To recommend approval of said rezoning &
adoption of the Environmental Negative Declaration.
Section IV
Hearings
10. Hearing of determination for lot merger group L.M. 88-8 & 88-9
(continued from 10/4/88, 10/18/88 & 11/1/88 meetings).
Recommended Action: 1) To approve lot line adjustment & merger
of Parcel 1 & a portion of Parcel 2 at 1026 21st Street. 9) To
merge the lots at 925 3rd Street.
11. Certification of Conditional Use Permit for live entertainment
at 211 Pacific Coast Highway, Hermosa Saloon (continued from 10/
18/88 meeting).
Recommended Action: To confirm said Conditional Use Permit.
12. Study of view blockage & height measurement method (continued
from 8/2/88 & 10/4/88 meeting).
Recommended Action: To set for public bearing.
13. Study of R-3 & R-2 setback standards for condominiums and
apartments.
Recommended Action: To set for public hearing.
