A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF HERMOSA BEACH
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF THE LOCAL COASTAL
PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION REGULATIONS ATTACHED HERETO AS
ATTACHMENT I.
WHEREAS, the City of Hermosa Beach has a certified Local Coastal Program
(LCP); and
WHEREAS, before the City can assume Coastal permit issuance authority, the
City must adopt public notice and hearing requirements consistent with the California
Coastal Act of 1976; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 4, 1984
to consider adoption of standards of public notice and hearings for considering Coastal
permits; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the standards within Attachment I
are appropriate for the City of Hermosa Beach, and are consistent with the
requirements of the California Coastal Act of 1976.
NOW THEREFORE, The Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach does hereby
recommend, to the City Council, approval of the Local Coastal Program
Implementation Regulations attached hereto as Attachment I.
VOTE: A YES: Chairman Izant, Commissioners Strohecker, Newton, Soulakis,
Shapiro.
NOES:
ABSENT: Commissioners Brown, Smith.
