A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEA,CH, C.A,LrF0R
NIA, .AMENDING THE PARKING STANDARDS TO INCLUDE PROVISIONS FOR CO:NIPACT CARS.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds it desirable to ameloirate parking
and circulation stresses; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Initial Study and has
determined there are no significant adverse environmental impacts created by
this project and recommends that a negative declaration be filed with the
County Recorder; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that inclusion of compact car
spaces in parking lots with more than twenty (20) spaces will enhance the
number of spaces allowable in each lot; and
WHEREAS, this increase in on-site parking has the potential to improve
circulation and parking as more cars are able to park on-site.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach does hereby resolve
to approve the addition of compact parking provisions to the current parking
standards as shown in Exhibit 2.
