A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION BY THE PLANNING COMM:ISSION OF HERMOSA BEACH TO
CONSIDER .AMENDING THE P.ARKING STANDARDS TO ALLOW TANDEM PARKING ONLY AFTER
MINIMUM PARKING REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN MET IN A TRADITIONAL MANNER.
WHEREAS, the City of Hermosa Beach has an ongoing problem with scarcity
of parking and;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that tandem parking aggravates
parking problems.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach
hereby declares its intention to hold a public hearing to consider restricting
the use of tandem parking until minimum parking requirements had been met by
traditional parking methods.
VOTE: AYES: Comms. Newton, Shapiro, Strohecker, Chmn. Izant
NOES: Comm. Brown
ABSENT: None
