RESOLUTION P.C. 84-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL TO ADOPT THE A TT ACHED
ORDINANCE WHICH AMENDS SECTIONS 1203 THROUGH 1203.2 OF THE ZONING
CODE TO BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH ARTICLES 1.5 AND 1.7 OF CHAPTER 3,
DIVISION 2 OF TITLE 7 OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE.
3 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that merging contiguous lots which are
4 substandard in area may act to preserve the character of existing neighborhoods and
5 reduce density; and
6 WHEREAS, Articles 1.5 and 1.7 of Chapter :3, Division 2, of Title 7 of the California
7 Government Code provides certain provisions which cities must follow in order to
8 merge contiguous lots held by the same owner;
g NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach does
IO hereby resolve to recommend the adoption of the attached ordinance.
