HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 84-26RESOLUTION P.C, 84-26 A RESOLUTION OF TEE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNI, TO THE CITY COUNCIL TO ADD TO THE ZONING CODE, SECTION 229.1 Lot Coverage. 2 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 18, 1984; 3 and 4 WHEREAS, the Zoning Code does not currently contain a definition of Lot Coverag 5 and 6 WHEREAS, classification as to whether or not the square footage of a second 7 story balcony and architectural projections are included in the calculation of 8 lot coverage is needed; 9 NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach does hereb JO resolve to recommend an addition to the Zoning Code as follows; I 1 1. 12 13 14 15 16 VOTE: 17 18 19 20 Section 229.l 11 Lot Coverage shall include the footprint of' the building plus cantilevers and decks higher than thirty inches above grade. Exceptions, not to be included when calculating lot. coverage are: architectural projections; eaves; and open and unenclosed balconies that project from the face of the building, not exceeding five feet.11 AYES: Comm.
