RESOLUTION P.C. 84-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, REDOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT SECTION 1162 OF THE
1 ZONING CODE AS IT PERTAINS TO NON-CONFOfilAING BUILDINGS NOT BE AMENDED.
2 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on October 2, 1984; and
3 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that amending the zoning code to remove
4 the parking requirement for small additions to non-conforming structures would
5 perpetuate substandard housing and exacerbate the City's parking problem; and
6 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the variance procedure is an
7 adequate mechanism to process these requests;
8 NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach does
g hereby resolve to recommend that Section 1162 of the zoning code as it
10 pertains to non-conforming buildings not be amended.
