RESOLUTION P.C. 84-30 PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA DENYING A ZONE CHANGE FROM C-3 TO R-3 FOR 736 4TH STREET IN THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, 2 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on 3 October 16, 1984, to consider this matter; and 4 WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Planning Commission to 5 enhance the depth of the Commercial Zone in the multi-use 6 corridor to engourage viable commercial development; and 7 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that rezoning this 8 property from C-3 to R-3 will not further the long range goals 9 of the City in terms of providing a successful commercial 10 corridor; and 11 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the current 12 use of the property in question, the neighboring uses, and the 13 General Plan desigQation of the area. 14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 of the City of ermosa change from C-3 to R-3 Street, Hermosa Beach, VOTE: AYES: Izant. NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Beach, California for the property California. Comm. Sheldon, Comm. Schulte Comm. Compton Comm. Newton CERTIFICATION does hereby deny a zone located at 736 4th Shapiro, Peirce, Chmn.
