RESOLUTION P.C. 90-47
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING AMENDING THE OPEN SPACE ELEMENT
OF THE GENERAL PLAN BY ADDING "THE COMPREHENSIVE PARKS AND
RECREATION MASTER PLAN" AS A GENERAL POLICY STATEMENT AND
ADOPTION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL NEGATIVE DECLARATION.
WHEREAS, on June 5, 1990, the Planning Commission held a
public hearing and made the following Findings:
A. The amendment of the Open Space Element of the General Plan
to include policies for recreation and the potential
development of parks is consistent with the General Plan and
does not cause any direct or indirect significant impacts on
the environment;
B. The subject document is a pol icy statement for parks and
recreation;
C. The document may be used to direct the development of future
specific park and recreational projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Hermosa Beach, does hereby recommend amend·ing the
Open Space Element of the General to add a general policy
document for future parks and recreation subject to unsubstantive
corrections.
