HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 90-591 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION P.C. 90-59 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A REQUEST FOR EXCEPTION, PURSUANT TO SECTION 13-7(c)(3) TO CONTINUE A NONCONFORMING SIDEYARD UP TO THE SECOND STORY AT 1781 VALLEY PARK AVENUE, LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS LOT 31, TRACT 15546 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 3, and July 17, 1990 to receive oral and written testimony regarding an application for an exception to sideyard requirements at 1781 Valley Park Avenue and made the following findings: A. The request cannot be approved because Section 13-7 (c) (3) requires that 75% of the existing houses on the same block have the same or a smaller nonconforming sideyard and, at most, only 50% of the structures on the subject block have equivalent or smaller sideyards. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby deny a request to extend a nonconforming sideyard for 1781 Valley Park Avenue.
