HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES-12-6784 (BLOCK GRANT BUDGET FY 2012-2013)1 2 3 4 5 6 7 s 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 7R RESOLUTION NO. 12-6784 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE COMMUNITUY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012- 2013 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The County's Community Development Commission staff has estimated that the City's CDBG allocation for the 2012-2013 fiscal year will be approximately $66,307. SECTION 2. The City Council, pursuant to applicable law, held a duly noticed public hearing on January 24, 2012, to consider the proposed CDBG allocation and budget, at which hearing testimony and evidence, both written and oral, were presented to and considered by the Council. SECTION 3. Based on the foregoing, the City Council hereby approved a proposed CDBG program budget as follows and direct staff to submit the required documentation to the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission for approval: 1. An estimated $78,000 for sale to another City in return for unrestricted funds. SECTION 4. The City Council hereby authorizes City staff to adjust the preceding program budget as necessary to take into account the final CDBG allocation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and any amounts remaining unspent at the close of the fiscal year.
