Working with council members on the status of on-going projects effecting the parks and being involved with events taking place in the parks. Being the eyes and ears for the city council in regards to activities, a liaison to the community. As a camera operator for ABC Sports, I have witnessed athletes on an off -day or in the early morning, spending time giving back to the community with special sports clinics, meeting with young people at youth centers and working with disabled children. I would like to see this happen in Hermosa Beach when sports figures and teams visit this area. It is attached to the sheet I am filling out, however I believe, as I did while running for city council, that the responsibilities of a city official or commission member, is to set forth a plan that is aimed at assisting in making the city a more wonderful place for people to visit, for businesses to thrive, and most importantly for residents to experience a quality of life that is second to none. I am also an advocate of the City being extra resourceful in the selection of services and equipment within the confines of its financial resources.
