RESOLUTION NO. 95-5716
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR AS
DESIGNATED AGENT TO PROVIDE, TO THE STATE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY
SERVICES, FOR ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO SUCH STATE DISASTER
ASSISTANCE, THE ASSURANCES AND AGREEMENTS REQUIRED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Viki Copeland, Finance Director, is hereby authorized
execute for and in behalf of the City of Hermosa Beach, State of California, a pub/
entity established under the laws of the State of California, this application and to file
in the Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain feder
financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford disasti
Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and/or state financial assistance unde
the Natural Disaster Assistance Act for the Winter Storms 9995 which occurred it
January of 1995.
SECTION 2. That the City of Hermosa Beach, State of California, a publi
entity established under the laws of the State of California, hereby authorizes its ag
to provide, to the State Office of Emergency Services, for all matters pertaining to
state disaster assistance, the assurances and agreements required.
