The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Allen.

4. Approval of the April 15, 2014 action minutes
ACTION: To approve the above minutes as presented.
MOTION by Commissioner Hoffman, seconded by Commissioner Perrotti. The motion
carried by a unanimous vote.
5. Resolution(s) for Consideration - None

Public Hearing
6. CON 14-6 / PDP 14-6 -- Conditional Use Permit, Precise Development Plan and Vesting
Tentative Parcel Map No. 66986 for a two -unit condominium at 930 6th Street, and
determination that the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental
Quality Act.
Staff Recommended Action: To adopt the attached resolution approving the Conditional Use
Permit, Precise Development Plan, and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map 66986 for a two unit
condominium subject to conditions and determine the project is Categorically Exempt from
CEQA.

ACTION: To adopt the resolution approving subject Conditional Use Permit, Precise
Development Plan and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map No. 66986 for a two -unit condominium
project with modification to condition 3(c) to require two guest spaces in each driveway and
to read as "Two GPe guest spaces shall be provided on each driveway; plus -one -space to
provide required quest parking and to replace two ape lost on -street parking spaces shall be
on the ", and determining the project is Categorically Exempt from the
California Environmental Quality Act.
Motion by Chairman Allen, seconded by Commissioner Hoffman. The motion carried by the
following vote:

Comms. Flaherty, Hoffman, Perrotti, Pizer, Chmn. Allen
NOES:

ABSTAIN:

ABSENT:
None
7. PDP 14-7 -- Amendment to Precise Development Plan to reconfigure offices, decks, and
stairways together with fagade and elevation changes in a multi -tenant building at 1301
Manhattan Avenue, and determination that the project is Categorically Exempt from the
California Environmental Quality Act.
Staff Recommended Action: To adopt the attached resolution approving the subject Precise
Development Plan Amendment subject to conditions, and determine the project is
Categorically Exempt from CEQA, and incorporating the existing Conditional Use Permit for
a restaurant with on -sale general alcoholic beverages, live entertainment and outdoor dining
without modifications.
ACTION: To continue to the June 17, 2014 meeting for the applicant to verify compliance
with parking standards for the building.
Motion by Chairman Allen, seconded by Commissioner Pizer. The motion carried by the
following vote:
