HomeMy WebLinkAboutBZA 84-2 (1050 Aviation)) (_. ~ 1 2 .r"' ~ RESOLUTION B.Z.A. 6 . 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA.BEACH,; CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A SIGN VARIANCE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1050·AVIATION BLVD., HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA. 3 WHEREA~, the Board of Zoning Adjustments of the City of 4 Hermosa'B$ach, at a public hearing held on February 6, 1984, in 5 the Council Chambers of the City Hall, considered the request of 6 Yves & Det.,ori$ Fournier for permission to exceed the sign area 7 and -maintain three existing roof signs, for property legally 8 described as Lot 2, Tract 5826; 9 -WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the following facts were 10 presented for consideration: the applicants are entitled to 82 11 square feet ot signing and are requesting 91 square feet and ·to 12 maintain three .existing roof signs which would conform to the 13 Sigil ·Ord.ina.nce; 14 · WHEREAS, .at said public heaTing, the applicant stated 15 that they could bring down the height of the signs on the front 16 wall; h.owever, he ;felt that the signs were more · solid in their 17 location on top of the wall, He also noted that if the signs were 18 moved~ they'· would: be more likely to fall; 19 WREREAS, at said public hearing, no one appeared to speak 20 II i.n o;:>pcs.i t ion to the sign variance; 2111 . . .
