l ll A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS OF THE CITY OF
HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON PROPERTY LOCATE
2 IIAT 201 HERMOSA AVENUE, HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
3 WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Adjustments of the City o1
41 1Hermosa Beach, at a public hearing held on April 4, 1983, in the
5 11 Council Chambers of the City Hall, considered the request of
6 11Mr. Steve Triantis for permission to have outside dining in
71 I conjunction with the operation of a restaurant, on property
8 1 llegally described as Lot 14, Block 3, Hermosa Beach Tract;
9 WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the following facts
lO ll were presented for consideration: the applicant presently
11 I !operates a restaurant serving beer and wine and is requesting
12 1 !permission to be allowed to expand his business to allow outside
13l ldining.by enclosing a portion of his existing parking area with a
141 16 ft. high wood fence and also to place a 3 ·, high wrought iron
15 I lfence in front of his business to provide additional tables;
16 WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the applicant was
17 11present a.nd would accept all conditions set forth by the Board;
18 WHEREAS, at said public hearing, no one appeared to
19 1 lspeak in opposition to the project i
20 WHEREAS, after due consideration, it is the opinion of
21 the Board of Zoning Adjustments that the conditional use permit is
22 granted with th~ foll6wing conditions:
23 1. A notice will be posted stating that no alcoholic beverages
24 shall be served in the front wrought iron fenced area.
25 2. An entryway be provided large enough to accomodate loading or
26 unloading of suppl~es.
27 3. That a bike rack will be installed in such a way so that wnen
28 full of bikes, public right-of-way will not be blocked.

1 114. That the number of tables shall not exceed building code
2 llrequirements with respect to aisles and exiting.
31 15. Chapter 19½ of the City Code entitled _N_o_ise Regulations shall
4 be complied with. Specifically, this conditional use permit is
5 not a permit to violate Section 19½-3 entitled Noise Limits.
6 116. There shall be a six (6) month review.
7117. That all of the conditions of the original conditional use
81 lpermi t be reaffirmed.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Zoning
10 1 IAdjustments of the City of Hermosa Beach, California, does hereby
11 I I grant the variance by the following vote:
