Dougherty's Hermosa Bay View Tract, situated at 615·~7th Street to permit the construction of a roof over the patio, extending t;o existing property lineo Comm. Miller mo,1ed ·chat the petltion be considered9 waiving the requirement in ·the Rules and Regulations which states t.hat notices must be sent to surrounding property O¼'Ylers s because there is no law governing the sending of notices in the Ordinance NooN0S.$, This motion was seconded by CorrunD Black and carried w1animously. There were no corn.ments either for this petition or against it from property owners in the area., Co:mm.. Fisher asked whether or not 5.-c was possible to get behind the patio}Erom the east side of the garage. It was established by MrD Valenzuela that there was plenty of room for such an entrance0 After .further discussion!' Comme Dennie read a letter ~rom the Southern California Planning Congress stating that the dues for the City of Hermosa Beach are due and payable ab this time.,, Comma Fisher moved that a recommendaticm be presented to the City Council to the effect that the rnembershiu of the City be rEnewed for the current year and that the dues of $25GOO be paid .. This met.ion was seconded by Commo Black and carried unanimouG1y, APPROVAL OF ~ Comm~ Hixson rn~ved that the minutes of the regular meeting of the Planning Commission held January 10, 1955 he approved as reado The motion was seconded by Comme Fisher and carried by a unanimous voteo A.IlJ,PJJ.filJMEN.T.: It was moved by Commo Fisher and seconded by Comm~ Hixson that the meeting be adjourned until Wednesday, February 16~ 1955 at 7:00 onclock P ..
